Kid Cudi is in a dark place right now and recently shared his emotional pain on Facebook. In a recent post, he revealed his ongoing battle with depression and anxiety; and has checked himself into rehab to cope with suicidal thoughts.

Sometimes fans tend to disassociate their favorite music artist from everyday battles that some feel only "regular" people encounter, such as feeling as if you are alone in this world without a friend.

"Day 'n Night" rapper Kid Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi, shared his story on how entertainers often go through the same depressions and isolation spells too.

For him, the isolation has kept him from making friends and sometimes leaving the house all together so he decided to do something about it and checked himself into rehab.

Cudi bared his heart and soul in a very lengthy and vulnerable Facebook post where he discussed his extensive battle with depression.

"I am not at peace. I haven't been since you've known me," the Ohio native revealed to his followers."If I didn't come here, I would've done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life."

Much like the title of his forthcoming album, Passion, Pain & Demon' Slayin', which he promised is still on the way - it seems Cudi has much demon slayin' to do on his own in his personal life before giving anything else to others.

"I wont be around to promote much, but the good folks at Republic and my manager Dennis will inform you about upcoming releases," wrote the 32-year-old. "...The album is still on the way. Promise. I wanted to square away all the business before I got [to rehab] so I could focus on my recovery."

Cudi released the full tracklist for the album back in September and dropped a few names of featured artists.

Pharrell Williams, Willow Smith, André 3000 of Outkast, and Travis Scott are just a few mentioned as collaborators.

Though he did not give an exact date for his release he did express his sincere apologies for anyone who may be affected by his words.

"I really am sorry. Ill be back, stronger, better. Reborn. I feel like sh*t, I feel so ashamed. Im sorry.
I love you."
