Chris Brown and Rihanna are still in love and with each other, but will never get back in a relationship after trying a second time. According to HollywoodLife.com a source close to Chris Brown say the artist had to separate himself from Rihanna because she was distracting him from his music and work.
"They went through a lifetime together and they're only in their 20s," says the source. "They've had lots of ups and then a HUGE down. Sometimes Chris can't even look at her because it reminds him of the s-t he did years ago. Even though she forgave him, the world hasn't. That's the s-t that's f-d up. It still distracts him from his music and his life. It's always in his face and it's something he can't shake."
But let's give both Chris and RiRi props! After all, they held their heads high in the face of adversity and public ridicule, and handled their very personal ordeal with dignity. But in the end, the fire in romance wore off.
After the 2009 assault, the couple had tried countless times to get the relationship right, but there was always a conflict, "You know, they tried it once and it was great," the source says of the couple getting back together after Chris' 2009 assault. "They tried it again and it didn't work. He loves her, but he knows they just can't work. They can only exist as friends because the relationship s-t just can't happen. They can't handle that. Brown threatened to leave music for good after tweeting (then deleting), "Don't worry mainstream America. After this X album, it'll probably be my last album."
The singer added," Being famous is amazing when it's for ur music and talent. I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I'm cool & over it!"
