Skrillex celebrated his 29th birthday yesterday, Jan. 15 and for the occasion he shared the surprise release of a new From First To Last song titled "Make War" with him on vocals. It is the first time he has made a song with the emo band since he split from them in 2007.

Skrillex, real name Sonny Moore, co-wrote the song, sang on it and lent his in demand production skills on "Make War." This is the first time the original band has reunited since Moore left in 2007 with everyone returning to his or her respective roles.

There have been hints that this might come for a few months now. Skrillex shared a snippet of what was believed to be a From First To Last song on his Beats 1 radio show over the summer. The most recent From First To Last vocalist Spencer Sotelo, who sang on the group's 2015 album Dead Trees, parted ways from the band in August, also hinted that Moore could be coming back.

Moore was served as the band's vocalist on the band's first two full-length albums, 2004' Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Bodycount and 2006's Heroine. He left in 2007to pursue his own solo career and because singing in the band was putting a tremendous amount of strain on his vocal chords.

He would release his first solo project Gypsyhook in 2009 under his own name and then 2010 saw his breakout EP My Name Is Skrillex.

It is unclear whether or not this reunion is a one-off for this single song or if he is going to do a full reformation of the band with an album and a tour.
