“Scorpion” Season 4 premieres on September 25 and the initial episode will pick up the morning after last season’s finale. Titled “Extinction,” Team Scorpion teams up with an old nemesis with the grand mission of stopping the extinction of mankind.
Actor Josh Leonard reprises his role as Mark Collins. In the same “Scorpion” Season 4 episode, Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Paige (Katharine McPhee) appear to navigate their relationship rather awkwardly. Last season, the two confessed their feelings for each other to the delight of their many fans. This happened at Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Happy’s (Jadyn Wong) wedding.
EP Nick Santora teased that “Scorpion” Season 4 will explore what it is like for a “genius to be head over heels in love with a normal” according to Entertainment Weekly. But, this early, Santora warns that it will not be a smooth ride in the new couple’s relationship and whether they can make their relationship work or not remains yet to be seen.
Meanwhile, the show’s other popular couple, Happy and Toby, will be dealing with their own challenges as newly weds. Santora revealed that they love being married and they may have discussions regarding having children in “Scorpion” Season 4 according to a previous Music Times report. As the EP puts it, the couple’s challenges “may or may not have something to do with the expansion of their family — maybe a little pro-creation or other things of that nature.”
Episode 2 of “Scorpion” Season 4 will be titled “More Extinction”. According to the episode synopsis released by CBS, Cabe (Robert Patrick) will have to make a possible career ending decision as the Scorpion team continues working with Collins.
There is a new cast member in “Scorpion” Season 4. Tina Majorino will play the major recurring role of Florence. She moves in next to the team and is expected to cause some trouble for the team particularly Walter and Paige.
