Many changes have been made to the lineup of the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy." As it approaches its fourteenth season, a character from the past will return to Grey -Sloan Memorial Hospital's walls and shake up several budding relationships.

Interestingly titled "Ain't That a Kick in the Head," the season's fourth episode will deal with the aftermath of Megan Hunt's return. Played by Abigail Spencer, Megan is the sister of Kevin McKidd's Owen Hunt that mysteriously disappeared for at least ten years. She also had a relationship with Nathan Riggs, causing a rift between the two doctors during season 13 of "Grey's Anatomy." And as Riggs, played by Martin Henderson, and lead character Meridith Grey, brought to life by Ellen Pompeo, are starting to have a relationship of their own, Megan's return could affect this, Variety reported.

Season 14 of "Grey's Anatomy" will have more than one love triangle. The marriage of Owen and Amelia Shepherd, played by Caterina Scorsone, will be put to the test with Kim Raver's Teddy Altman and Hunt's close chemistry. Sarah Drew's April Kepner and Jesse William's Jackson Avery's relationship could change this season, though it is not clear yet if it would be for the better or for the worse.

However, this would not be the only shakeup that would happen. In the "Grey's Anatomy" synopsis released by TV Guide, Amelia and Kelly McCreary's Maggie Pierce will be some of the characters that will be in a tough situation. Grey-Sloan's bigwigs Miranda Bailey and Richard Webber, played by Chandra Wilson and James Pickens, Jr. respectively, will reportedly be searching for new talents to teach and nurture.

"Grey's Anatomy" will open its fourteenth season on September 28, 2017, with the fourth episode "Ain't That a Kick in the Head" to air on October 12, 2017, at ABC.
