Taylor Swift and "Grey's Anatomy" go a long way back. Since its early seasons, the pop star has been a well-confessed fan of the show. Although the medical drama has already featured an array of celebrities as guest patients (and doctors), Taylor has yet to appear in the series.

But, eagle-eyed fans recently stumbled upon something that highly suggests that the global sensation will finally make it into the doors of Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Taylor Swift, Ellen Pompeo Friendship

Taylor Swift and the series' main character Meridith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo, is no stranger to each other. In fact, Swift named her cat "Meridith Grey" to prove how addicted she is to the series.

Swift has also struck a friendship with Pompeo herself, as the latter was invited and starred in one of Swift's most iconic music videos to date, "Bad Blood."

"Bad Blood" won "Video of the Year" at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Swift initially asked Pompeo to receive the award with her, but the latter declined because of scheduling conflicts.

With the show coming close to its eighteenth season, eagle-eyed fans of both Swift and "Grey's Anatomy" think that the GRAMMY-winning singer might finally have her appearance on the show.

Taylor Swift on 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 18 Finale: Is It Finally Happening?

TikTok user, TheThitySwiftie posted a video showing that "Grey's Anatomy" shows on Taylor Swift's IMDb Page in a 2022 Episode.

 @thethriftyswiftie Reply to @ashleyleechin13 @taylorswift @taylornation @Grey’s Anatomy ABC @shondarhimes IM DYING #swifttok #swiftietiktok #taylorswift #1989taylorsversion #thislovetaylorsversion #taylorongreys  #meredithswift #meredithgrey #drtaylorswift ♬ This Love (Taylor’s Version) - Taylor Swift

The user also theorized that Swift might become a guest star on the finale episode of Season 18. And with her, she might bring some new music along with her, especially from the "1989" album, which she is also dropping a few here and there.

However, Billboard reports that as soon as the TikTok went viral, the Grey's Anatomy credit on her IMDb page mysteriously disappeared. Billboard reached out for a comment on both parties but has not received any.

Taylor did not confirm nor deny the allegations publicly.

The link might not be far-fetched as Taylor's song, "White Horse," has been featured in the show before in its Season Five premiere.

On the other hand, fans are trying to connect the dots - even noting that Swift's new honorary fine arts doctorate degree might finally be the way for her to guest star in the medical drama.

Grey's Anatomy's two-hour season finale event and 400th episode airs Thursday, 9:00 p.m. ET.
