Megyn Kelly does not think that Jane Fonda has the right to lecture anyone. The Megyn Kelly Today host also fired back at the 80-year-old actress over the latter's comments about their previous interview.

Kelly started her lengthy speech about Fonda by saying that the veteran actress got upset when she asked her if she had undergone plastic surgery during their September interview. The host was surprised when Fonda asked her why she was asking such a question on live television.

The 47-year-old host said that she was shocked to hear Fonda's reaction because she has always been open about her decision to go under the knife. Kelly added that the Grace and Frankie star does not look like she is 80 years old, and that is because of her surgeries.

Jane Fonda's Previous Comments Resurface

Kelly's statement against Fonda went as far as telling the actress that she has no right to lecture anyone about anything. After all, Fonda has a controversial past. Kelly said that Fonda also once declared that she is not proud of her own country.

"She put her plastic surgery out there. She said she wanted to discuss the plight of older women in America..." said Kelly.

The mom of three also reminded viewers of an interview Fonda had in 2015. At that time, the Georgia Rule star deliberately admitted that she had plastic surgery. However, Fonda said that she is not proud of this decision.

During the same interview, Fonda explained that she grew up in a time where women were defined by their looks. She was told by the people around her that in order for her to be loved, she had to be thin and pretty.

Actress Slams Megyn Kelly

On Friday, Fonda reignited her "feud" with Kelly when she sat down for another interview. The actress said that she did not get upset over Kelly's question during their previous interview. However, she felt that it was unnecessary to bring plastic surgery up at that time.

"I was stunned. It was so inappropriate. It showed that she's not that good an interviewer. But if she comes around and learns her stuff, sure," said Fonda.
