In addition to the first 13 acts of a 60-plus performer lineup, Apple also announced a venue for the London festival and a tentative group of dates. According to Billboard, the iTunes Festival will take place throughout the month of September at the Roundhouse in Camden.

As in iTunes Festival tradition, major music fans who are unable to travel to London for the extravaganza will still be able to tune in live to the concert series. Each performance will be available to stream either on iTunes of on an Apple TV.

The iTunes Festival 2014 marks the eighth year of the Apple-sponsored pop music fest. Last year, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Avicii, Elton John and 30 Seconds to Mars were among the major performers at the Roundhouse.

The iTunes Festival also hosted its first U.S. edition earlier this year at Austin's South by Southwest, featuring Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull and more.

More performers for the iTunes Festival 2014 will be announced in the following weeks.
