Drake officially drops his remix of "Lemon." The song was originally released by Rihanna and N.E.R.D. off of the latter's No One Ever Really Dies album.

Pharrell previewed Drake's "Lemon" remix last weekend and also shared a copy of the song via his Twitter account.

The "Lemon" remix is now available on Apple Music, iTunes, and Spotify.

Pharrell Talks About 'Lemon'

Rihanna and N.E.R.D.'s collaboration was released on Nov. 1. Pharrell, who is also featured in the track, opened up about "Lemon" last year. During an interview, he explained the meaning behind the title of the song.

"Lemon is a fruit. It is bitter. Hence, the origin of the song. It's like when we all have the potential to be very fruitful as human beings, but there's certain times where people act like they're happy for you, but when they answer your question or when they see you, it's kinda like they just bit into a lemon. And that's kinda what it's about," said Pharrell.

Pharrell also gushed over Mette, a dancer who choreographed the routine in the "Lemon" music video. He said that Mette is not a member of N.E.R.D., but after everything she did for the trio, it feels as though she has become part of the group.

"Mette's been my favorite part of, not only this song, but the project. Only because I feel like she, literally, just as she did in the video, she embodies everything that we wanted to express to allow other people to have that... you know, recognize and acknowledge that same access to freedom," said Pharrell.
