SZA officially releases the music video for "Broken Clocks." It comes as a surprise for her fans because the clip is supposed to be available exclusively on Apple Music.

After uploading the video via her Twitter account, SZA immediately deleted the file. However, some fans have already been able to get a hold of the music clip. "Broken Clocks" is featured in the singer's Ctrl album.

The five-minute coming of age music video opens with a young girl facing the camera and shouting. SZA, who is sleeping in her bed, wakes up at the sound of the screaming, as well as the ringing of her alarm clock. She wakes the other girls up inside the bedroom and starts singing.

"Broken Clocks" is all about SZA singing about her experience in the make-believe Camp Ctrl.

SZA Talks About 'Ctrl'

Last month, the 27-year-old singer talked about Ctrl and said that she could not believe how the record resonated with a lot of people. After all, she did not even understand how and why people connected to it.

"I didn't even f*** with my own album, so I was so confused and almost, like, angry that everyone f***** with it so much. It meant everything I felt about myself was wrong. And it was just like, if that's not the truth, then what is the truth?" said SZA.

SZA Talks About The Grammys

Despite her doubts about Ctrl, SZA earned five Grammy nominations for her recent project. However, she did not manage to bring home a single award. The "All the Stars" singers said that she did not feel as mad as she thought she would be afterward.

"I didn't have any expectations, actually. That's why I wasn't super upset. [People] place too much importance on the entire situation in general, and place too much importance on the institution," said SZA.

During a previous interview with another publication, the "Love Galore" singer said that she was upset over her loss at this year's Grammy Awards.
