The Scottish synth-pop trio Chvrches is headed to a North American to promote its newest studio album Love Is Dead.

On Monday, April 23, the chart-topping group announced on Twitter the complete dates and venues for their upcoming live performances.

Live Performances Across North America

The Love Is Dead U.S. tour will kick off on Aug. 6 in Denver, Colorado. There will be a total of 15 stops across 15 states in the span of two months. Also, the band will hold a performance in Vancouver, Canada. The tour is set to conclude in Boston, Massachusetts on Oct. 20.

Tickets will be on sale starting Friday, April 27, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can get presale passes by placing a preorder of Love Is Dead, the band's third studio album. A special code will be sent as part of the purchase's confirmation e-mail.

'Love Is Dead' Release Date

The 13-track album of Lauren Mayberry and company will be released on May 25. The band has already released four singles from the LP including "Get Out" and "My Enemy," which features vocals from The National lead singer Matt Berninger.

Mayberry, in a statement to Beats 1, praised the singer-songwriter and said that the entire band is a fan of the National. She also revealed that they met Berninger when they did 7-Inches For Planned Parenthood last year.

In another interview, the band revealed that multi-instrumentalist Martin Doherty was initially meant to sing in the duet, but felt that his voice was not right for the track.

"I thought we could make this into something special with someone like Matt, who can sell stories so purely, who sings one word and I'm there," he said.

"I can't even say hearing Matt sing lyrics I wrote is a bucket list moment because I didn't even have a bucket list where that was conceivably f****** possible," Mayberry added.

In addition, Love Is Dead, according to the band, is their most personal record yet. Mayberry explained to Pitchfork that there was an effort to be more honest and say exactly what they have in mind instead of burying meaning under metaphors.

"When I'm writing, it's because I'm trying to figure something out for myself," the vocalist/lyricist stated. "If I don't believe in what I've written, then how can I expect anyone else to believe in that either?"

Iain Cook added that there is a necessity to directly express ideas especially with whatever is happening in the world.

Chvrches is also set to play at the Radio1 Biggest Weekend, Primavera, and Governor's Ball in the following months.
