Donald Trump enjoys listening to rap songs about himself. Rob Goldstone, a British music publicist, shared the conversation he had with the president in 2016.

At the time, a meeting between Trump aides and Russian delegates was being held. Goldstone walked into the room and heard the President of the United States listening to very loud rap music.

Trump told the music publicist that he was presented with a platinum disc after inspiring the Mac Miller's 2011 track called "Donald Trump." However, Goldstone encouraged Trump to listen to the song intently because it was not written as a way of praising him.

Donald Trump's Reaction To 'Donald Trump'

After the release of "Donald Trump," the president went on to Twitter to praise Miller for the track. He even called him the next Eminem. However, two years later, he threatened to sue the rapper.

"Little @MacMiller, you illegally used my name for your song 'Donald Trump.' I'm now going to teach you a big boy lesson about lawsuits and finance. You ungrateful dog!" wrote Trump.

Mac Miller Slams Donald Trump

Three years after, Miller opened up about the subject of Trump during his appearance on The Nightly Show. During his interview, Miller said that he does not know if Trump can be considered evil.

"I think you're just such an egomaniacal, attention-thirsty, psychopathic, power-hungry, delusional waste of skin and bones that you'll do, say or allow anything if it means you'll just get one more minute in the limelight," said Miller.

Rapper Arrested For DUI

In related news, Miller was recently arrested on DUI and hit and run charges on Thursday.

Rosario Herrera, an officer for the Los Angeles Police Department, confirmed that Miller's Mercedes Benz G-Wagon hit a utility pole at around 1 a.m. in 2016, and Miller and his two other passengers fled the scene on foot.

When the officers ran the license plate, they found out that the vehicle belonged to the rapper. Two years after the incident, police officials went to Miller's home, where he confessed to drunk driving and fleeing the scene.

The rapper was taken to a local jail, but he was released a few hours later. His bail was set at $15,000.

Mac Miller, Ariana Grande Split

Just a few days ago, Miller split from his girlfriend Ariana Grande. The two artists reportedly went their separate ways because of their busy schedule.
