SZA and Donald Glover are lovers who secretly meet in the woods in this dreamy music video for "Garden (Say It Like Dat)."

'Garden' Music Video

After SZA made a brief cameo in the music video for Childish Gambino's viral and critically lauded music video for "This Is America," the Grammy-winning rapper and actor returned the favor by playing the leading man for the music video of the 27-year-old crooner's new track.

"Garden (Say It Like Dat)," directed by Karena Evans, begins with SZA lying in the cave by the beach at dawn, wearing a white swimsuit and a cream chiffon scarf.

"Need you for the old me / Need you for my sanity / Need you to remind me where I come from / Can you remind me of my gravity?" She sings.

Glover, wearing a tight white sleeveless shirt, appears when SZA, the leading lady of the short film, reaches the woods. At first, the two seem to tease each other from behind the trees, but eventually, they meet in the middle of a clearing and cuddle on the foliage.

The gorgeous four-minute music video was a work of art. It looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale, and it has a vintage filter that is also featured in her other music videos.

At one point, SZA's mom, Audrey Rowe, appears in the video wearing all-white and looking a like a tropical goddess on her throne of flowers. Rowe can also be heard saying a few words throughout the song's credits.

"My mom has spent her whole life living in openness and acceptance and I really never understood," said SZA, whose real name is Solána Rowe, in a past interview with Vulture.

"Garden (Say It Like Dat)," comes days after the artist released the martial arts music video for her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar titled "Doves in the Wind."
