ABC drops a trailer for the documentary The Last Days of Michael Jackson. The two-hour special will air on Thursday, May 24.

The over two-minute teaser for the documentary opens with clips of the late singer in concert. Interviews with Janet Jackson, the police officer who responded to the 911 call, his friends from the industry, and more will also be featured in the tribute show.

Michael Jackson's interview about the struggles that came with his fame is also shown in the clip.

"The star needs some space, give him a chance to relax. He has a heart. He is human. Let him have a bed, a pillow. What more can I give? People expect more and more because once it's done, it is immortal. You can't go back," said Michael.

Michael Jackson's Death

The documentary will also shed light on the day Michael was pronounced dead. Reports revealed that different types of drugs were found in his home. His doctor was with him at the time of his demise.

On June 25, 2009, Michael died of cardiac arrest. The coroner ruled that the award-winning singer died of acute Propofol intoxication.

Prior to his death, Michael announced his final tour. However, he had died 18 days before it commenced.

Detroit Street Renaming Ceremony

In related news, one of the streets in Detroit will be renamed after the late singer. On Thursday, the Detroit City Council announced that Randolph Street between Gratiot Avenue and Madison Street in Detroit's Theater District will be now known as Michael Jackson Avenue.

The street renaming ceremony will take place on June 15 during the Detroit Music Festival. Members of the Jackson 5, namely Jackie, Tito, Marlon, and Jermaine will all attend the gathering. They will also receive a key to the city from Mayor Mike Duggan.
