Ariana Grande debuted her collaboration with Nicki Minaj last weekend. "The Light Is Coming" is included in the singer's Sweetener album.

However, it was only Grande that performed their new song live at the Wango Tango. Prior to her performance, the "No Tears Left to Cry" songstress told the live audience that she was feeling nervous.

Despite how she felt, Grande still managed to give an all-out performance of her new track. Her over two-minute live number opens with the 24-year-old singer walking to the stage and greeting her fans. Minaj breaks into a rap in the recorded version of the track.

Less than one minute into the video, Grande is seen showing off her impressive dance moves while the line, "the light is coming," is uttered multiple times. Grande also combines her singing with her dancing midway through her performance.

Ariana Grande Confirms 'Sweetener' Release Date

In related news, Grande opened up about Sweetener during her interview with 102.7 KISS FM. The singer confirmed that her latest project will be available sometime in August. Pre-order will start on June 20.

"And on the 20th you get a new song called 'The Light Is Coming' which features my big sister Nicki Minaj, and we wanted to give you a little preview of it tonight. I'm so nervous. Let's go," said Grande.

Nicki Minaj Teases New Collaboration

Before last weekend's performance, Grande and Minaj teased their collaboration on social media. The "Anaconda" singer posted a video of Grande singing on her Instagram account and called her the "queen of flawless vocals." The singer also said that they are up to something in her caption.

"The Light Is Coming" is not Grande and Minaj's first collaboration. The two singers previously teamed up on Jessie J's song "Bang Bang." In 2016, Minaj also lent her vocals to Grande on her song "Side to Side."

Ariana Grande's New Boyfriend Pete Davidson

Other than her live performance of "The Light Is Coming," Grande also made headlines after Pete Davidson reacted to his girlfriend's act at the Wango Tango. The comedian called Grande's performance "lit."

Last week, Davidson also confirmed the status of his relationship with Grande via a social media post. Before this, witnesses spotted him and the singer at the World Famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Following his confirmation, Davidson showed off his two Grande-inspired tattoos to make their relationship even more official.
