Prince would have celebrated his 60th birthday on June 7. Years after the music icon's passing, one of his friends shared an anecdote about the late singer and Justin Timberlake.

Rebekah Alperin, former Universal publishing executive, talked about the incident that took place in 2004. Prince learned that he will be sharing a bathroom with Timberlake, and he was not very pleased.

Alperin clarified that Prince did not have anything against Timberlake personally. However, the "Purple Rain" singer just disliked the idea of sharing his private space with someone else.

Prince Slams Justin Timberlake

Prince and Timberlake did not necessarily have a good relationship with each other. In 2006, Prince threw shade at the NSYNC member during his performance at the Emmy Awards after-party in Hollywood.

At the time, Timberlake was boasting about bringing sexy back through one of his songs.

"For whoever is claiming that they are bringing sexy back, sexy never left!" said Prince.

Morris Hayes, Marc Anthony Remember Prince

In related news, Prince's other friends in the industry also remembered him on his special day. Morris Hayes, Prince's keyboardist from 1993 to 2012, shared that the singer used to call him on the phone and pretend that he was housekeeping.

Marc Anthony also shared that he tried to find out Prince's height by tricking him into removing his shoes inside his house.

"So I met him at the car, 'Hey it's great to see you, welcome, but I have to tell you, we don't allow shoes in the house.' And he said, in that beautiful satiny voice, [drops voice to seductive purr], 'Then we'll talk outside.' [Laughing] He did not go for that. I tried, man!" said Anthony.

No Criminal Charges Filed

Prince passed away on April 21, 2016, due to an accidental drug overdose. One year later, the investigation into the singer's death revealed that no criminal charges will be filed.

The singer suffered from opiate addiction. He died after taking counterfeit Vicodin pills that were laced with fentanyl. Mark Metz, Prince's attorney, said that his client did not have any idea he was taking a counterfeit pill at that time.

The court revealed that there is no evidence showing how Prince obtained the drugs. There is also no evidence on where the pills came from. As such, no criminal charges have been made.

Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator at Paisley Park. He was 57.
