G-Eazy sets the record straight regarding his rumored relationship with Demi Lovato. The two artists were linked to each other last week.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, G-Eazy said that he and Lovato are just friends. US Weekly was first to report about the G-Eazy and Lovato's alleged relationship, but the story was taken down after a few hours.
G-Eazy did not share any other information about Lovato while at the 2018 ESPY Awards, and the "Sober" singer has not talked about her friend either.
On Thursday, Halsey also weighed in on G-Eazy and Lovato's dating rumors before her ex-boyfriend set the record straight. The singer said that there is no chance that G-Eazy and Lovato are a couple, and she is correct.
Halsey Opens Up About G-Eazy Split
In recent weeks, Halsey announced that she and G-Eazy already called it quits after a year of dating.
On her social media account, the singer also hinted at G-Eazy's alleged cheating. During one of her shows, Halsey also broke down in tears talking about the pain she experienced while in a relationship. After addressing their failed relationship, Halsey sang "Sorry."
G-Eazy Talks About The Future
During his recent interview, G-Eazy finally addressed his split from Halsey.
"It's just one of those things that comes with the territory. You trade in your anonymity in exchange for some of your success in the public eye. You have to remember the blessings and remember how grateful you are to be here in the first place and understand some of that is just what comes with the territory," said G-Eazy.
G-Eazy, Halsey On Good Terms
Despite their split, a source close to the estranged couple said that G-Eazy and Halsey ended things on a positive note. The two musicians are open to the possibility of crossing paths again in the future.
"In the meantime, they are just focused on growing as artists, as people, and are doing their best to set a positive example for their loved ones and fans," said the source.
Did G-Eazy Throw Shade At Ex-Girlfriend?
However, even though G-Eazy and Halsey are in good terms, some fans are convinced that the former threw shade at the latter in his song "Power." It is important to note that the track was released in May, and Halsey announced their split this month.
Still, Halsey's supporters are convinced G-Eazy threw shade at his ex-girlfriend. Some of them said that they are disappointed in G-Eazy for cheating on her and writing a song about their idol.
