Fans think that Glee alum Naya Rivera was shading her ex-boyfriend Big Sean in the recent episode of Lip Sync Battle on the Paramount Network.

The 31-year-old surprised host LL Cool J and opponent Lil Rel Howery when she came out wearing a baggy shirt and ripped skinny jeans in a performance of "I Don't F*** With You," a song that was reportedly written about her.

"You took me by surprise with that one," said Howery who previously appeared on the Academy Award-nominated movie Get Out.

"I Don't F*** With You" was released in 2014, a few months after Big Sean had called off his engagement to Rivera. The track became a massive hit, peaking at the 11th spot of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014 and on the 27th spot of the Mainstream Top 40 in 2015. It was released as one of his first songs after he had signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation, according to Genius.

In a previous interview with Complex, Big Sean admitted that the song, while not entirely about his ex, was influenced by her. He said that the last verse, where he states that he "dodged a bullet," was about their ugly and a public breakup.

Naya Rivera, Big Sean Breakup

Rivera and Big Sean announced their breakup in April 2014, roughly six months after their engagement. At the time, sources claimed that the rapper had cheated on his fiancée with an unnamed woman but Big Sean's camp denied the allegations.

Shortly after, he started dating pop superstar Ariana Grande. The romance lasted for eight months until April 2015.

In her memoir Sorry Not Sorry, Rivera revealed that he caught the "God is a Woman" singer in Big Sean's house "cross-legged on the couch and listening to music."

Meanwhile, the actress-singer married Ray Donovan actor Ryan Dorsey in 2014, three months after she had broken up with Big Sean. Last year, the couple was involved in an altercation in West Virginia that saw Rivera arrested for domestic battery. The charges were later dropped.

She filed for divorce last December. They share a 2-year-old son, Josey Hollis.

Although he never publicly dissed Rivera, Big Sean seemingly celebrated her arrest by tweeting a video of a girl saying "I told you so."
