Music producer, Andrew Watt, who produced hits for stars like Post Malone, Camila Cabello, and Ozzy Osbourne was tested positive for COVID-19 according to an article by Yahoo Entertainment. Watt is famous for his smash hits like "Senorita". The 29-year-old producer also shared his story that he developed pneumonia and is now needing an oxygen machine for assistance.

Watt wrote on Instagram last Tuesday, March 16, as posted on the Daily Mail: '12 days ago, early morning of March 6th, I started feeling like I was hit by a bus, I couldn't move out of my bed for days and started to run a fever.

'I was seen by a doctor at my house who told me I am positive for the regular flu and there's no way I could have COVID-19 as I haven't left the country and all I do is go to the studio and go straight home,' he said.

Fighting COVID-19 and the Stress

Watt said that he is now using Tamiflu and Tylenol to combat the fever, which does not stop with the chills and sweat. "I started to become delusional" he said according to an article on People Magazine. He immediately went to the emergency room for a test for possible viral infection as his is not recovering from the flu. He even begged to be tested for pneumonia.

A private doctor tested Watt and found him to be positive for COVID-19, thus adding to the list of people who have contracted the virus. "This is not a joke," Watt says.

He reminds his followers to take precautions through sanitizing and social distancing. He now joins UMG head Lucian Grainge, couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, and British Hollywood actor Idris Elba.

Support from Fellow Celebrities

After he announced being positive for COVID-19, he recieved support from his friends in both the music industry and in Hollywood.

Model Gigi Hadid and pop star Katy Perry showed support to Watt, and Sophia Richie, meanwhile, shared a message to Watt encouraging him to stay positive.

Ozzy Osbourne, one of his companions and the lead singer of the band Black Sabbath, cancelled his appearance in SXSW film conference in Austin TX, where his biopic is supposed to be released. The conference alongside with the music festival itself was cancelled due to the virus. The festival was supposed to be held on March 12.

Ozzy, now 71 years old, is working on his new album. He and Watt were with Zane Lowe last month before Watt's diagnosis. Many people who died in the virus were in the same age as Ozzy's.
