Are you Looking for other ways to calm your nerves or boredom while in quarantine? Now, imagine yourself reliving a fashion show of an iconic brand with a soothing music accompaniment. Fashion house Alexander McQueen launched its soundtrack, April 6, on its new Spotify channel. #McQueenMusic is a part of the #McQueenCreators series.

The McQueen playlist is a collection of music inspired by the previous fashion shows of McQueen and soundtracks of the featured musicians.

John Gosling, who headed the soundtracks of the runway shows for more than 20 years, curated the playlist, which is a compilation of classical music, orchestral pieces, and vogue-techno-pop tracks. Mozart's compositions and instrumental pieces from movie scores such as "Arrival" and "Interstellar" are part of the collection. Collaborators include Isobel Waller-Bridge and the London Contemporary Orchestra. One of the tracks, "Arise," used in Masha Vasuykova's seascape campaign film, was composed by Isobel Waller-Bride.

The two collaborators were the composers and performers of the live soundtrack for McQueen's Spring/Summer 2020 runway show, which was held in October 2019.

#McQueenMusic channel has two playlists titled as Alexander McQueen | I and Alexander McQueen | II. The first one consists of 22 songs, and the second has 21 songs. The company said the songs would be continually updated, with new tracks from upcoming shows.

In the era of COVID-19 pandemic amid the unprecedented rates of infections and deaths all over the world, people need a moment or two to pause and find meaning in their lives. Music had become even more essential, as most have turned to entertainment to keep uncertainties at bay. Many of the featured tracks in McQueen's Spotify playlist are comforting, sublime, reflective - sounds we need to hear more often than ever.
