Despite his recent look of disgust at a Cubs-Padres game, and the following "Sad Jack White" memes, Lazaretto's own Jack White is actually a huge fan of baseball. So much so that he tossed out the first pitch at yesterday's Detroit Tigers game ... and yes, he managed to look happy!

The below video shows the rock star coming out to the field at Comerica Park, already with a smile on his face, and prepping for the pitch as the announcer calls out the players. He chats it up with a couple of people near the dugout and proceeds to take to the mound under the White Stripes' "Icky Thump," which can be heard playing in the background.

Like a true pro, and rocking that Detroit Tigers jersey, White throws out the pitch rather effortlessly towards a catcher dressed as Santa Claus. As Billboard reports, the stadium was celebrating "Christmas in July." And while his pitch was low and needed a bounce to get to Santa, it's far better (yet less eye-catching) than 50 Cent's pitch from back in May.

Take a look at White's happy-go-lucky toss below:

The Detroit Tigers also captured the moment via a video on their Instagram page. Check it out here:

Though White was all smiles during his time at the park, the Tigers were just the opposite, losing to the Chicago White Sox, 11-4.

The former White Stripe has been making audiences extremely pleased during his recent tour promoting Lazaretto, covering Lorde's "Royals" and Jay Z's "99 Problems."
