Canadian reggae pop-rock band MAGIC! is getting a little "Rude" this summer with its breakthrough smash single, so it's about time that it's gotten a little hip-hop remix. Today (July 31), rappers Kid Ink and Ty Dolla $ign with the help of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker gave the old song a new twist, fittingly titled "Rude Remix."

Keeping the beachy vibes and chorus of the song fully intact, Barker adds a bit of a bass thumb to the single, giving it a more club-friendly feel.

In addition to the pop and hip-hop elements, Ink and $ign offered up their own "Rude" verses, turning the tables from a disapproving father to an out-of-control daughter.

"Why you gotta be so d--m bad girl / Why you gotta have so much a$ girl / Imma let you lick the rapper / I like it when you say faster, faster," they spit in a semi-lewd verse.

The new remix gives the song a fresh, urban makeover and adds new layers to the song: both daddy and daughter are rude people! (So, why do you want to marry her anyway?) Though the raps add an interesting layer, Barker's added instrumentation is really where this remix shines, giving the song a brand new sense of attitude and #swag.

The original version of the song is currently having massive success. It's the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 for the third week in a row, topping major hits from Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith and Ariana Grande.
