Funko pops are now among the most sought-after collectibles for professional toy collectors or otherwise. You can now find cute, miniaturized vinyl figurines for almost every pop culture icon - comic books, movies, and even music legends.

LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 25: Funko POP! figures are displayed during WonderCon 2016 at the Los Angeles Convention Center on March 25, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

Of course, as with any collectible, not all toys are created equal. Whether they are released for a special occasion or are "vaulted," items no longer manufactured, some figures are worth more than others. Here are three of the most expensive Funko Pop, based on musicians, that are still roaming the market:

The Notorious B.I.G. - Metallic

Born Christopher George Latore Wallace, The Notorious B.I.G. remains one of the most influential rappers of all time. The rapper-singer and songwriter has brought gangsta rap to a wider audience, with his relaxed delivery masking the darker themes of his work. His large frame is further amplified in hip-hop history with hits such as "Juicy" and "Big Poppa."

There are a few figurines inspired by good old Biggie, including one of the most expensive Funko pop figurines today. Pop! Rocks #18 features the rapper in a classy, shiny suit. Also, it fetches quite a hefty price right now. According to the HobbyDB website, its estimated value sits at $2,040.00. This is also no longer available at the official Funko! Pop store, since it is a vaulted item.

1970s Elvis Presley - Glow In The Dark

Since Funko! Pop is all about pop icons, The King of Rock and Roll is bound to appear sooner or later. Elvis Aaron Presley's energy and raw appeal has become his signature through the hits "Jailhouse Rock," "Love Me Tender," and "Blue Suede Shoes." Moreover, his past as a truck driver up until his rise to superstardom remains one of the classic "American Dream" stories.

Among others, Elvis is now immortalized in Funko Pop! Rocks No. 03, easily one of the most expensive Funko pop vinyls available. Wearing his sequined and caped white outfit, this 1970s Elvis is also a limited edition Glow Chase pop. HobbyDB puts The King pop at around $2,480.00.

Purple Haze Vinyl Figure

Another one of the greats, this time it's Jimmy Hendrix. The singer-songwriter is best known as a rock virtuoso, and rightly so. In fact, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame refers to Jimi Hendrix as "the greatest instrumentalist in the history of rock music."

In modern pop culture, one of Hendrix's most memorable appearances comes from his 1967 hit "Purple Haze." Perhaps the most expensive Funko pop based on a musician, it sports the same purple bandanna, his marching band vest, purple jeans, and black leather shoes. It also comes in a glossy, metallic version, sending the price skyhigh. The Pop! Rocks No. 1 has Jimi Hendrix in a purple chrome pants and bandanna. His vest in this version is gold as opposed to the dark blue marching band vest.

Also, the non-metallic version is quite expensive in its own right, being a rare product also. HobbyDB puts the Pop! Rocks No. 1 close to $480.00 apiece. However, its metallic version goes goes for about $2,410.00, with some sellers willing to part with the Jimi Hendrix figure for almost $6,000.
