After a disastrous concert in Boston on Saturday (July 26), country singer and American Idol judge Keith Urban is finally speaking out. In a new statement on his website, Urban called the show's event horrific after nearly 100 incidents occurred, including one alleged rape.

"My team and I were horrified to learn of the events reported in Boston this past weekend and our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected. This type of behavior stands in stark contrast to the spirit of our shows," Urban wrote on his official website, keeping things brief and to the point.

The two-sentence statement is thus far Urban's only comment on his Massachusetts show, which was deemed a "mass casualty incident." According to The Boston Herald, 22 people were hospitalized, over 50 were arrested and 46 were treated for alcohol-related illnesses during the event. There was also a much darker incident, with a 17-year-old girl allegedly getting raped by 18-year-old Sean Murphy.

According to reports, Murphy met the 17-year-old victim at the Xfinity Center, and after drinking together in the woods, Murphy began assaulting the woman on the lawn as a crowd gathered around, capturing the incident through photos and cell phone videos.

Murphy, who is now free on $10,000 bail, claims the act was consensual with "no mention of any force," though the girl reportedly told concertgoers she didn't want to have sex with Murphy.

Despite the tragic and horrifying events at the July 26 concert, Urban will continue his 2014 summer tour tonight (Aug. 1) with a show at St. Louis' Verizon Wireless Amphitehatre.
