Miley Cyrus has spent a great deal of time on self-reflection and recollection during the pandemic in preparation for something big for her career. In an exclusive interview with the British Vogue, the American singer and songwriter explains what she's learned from being alone and how this fuels her on her next move for her career. Aside from that, she expressed her intentions on collaborating with a fellow pop star.

Billie Eilish's Messaging to Fans Fuels Cyrus' Aspiration to Collab

Cyrus said in the interview, "There are always new emerging artists that are super interesting." She expressed her sentiments on how she has always been open to collaborating with fellow artists. Over the years, she has always excited fans with new partnerships with other pop stars like Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, and Stevie Nicks.

However, Cyrus mentioned one particular artist that she wants to work with at the moment. "I love Billie Eilish. I think she's just the coolest. I love her, her messaging. I'd love to work with her."

The "Without You" singer shared how she's always appreciated Eilish's craft and messaging. The two seem to be a great pair as they share similar practices in life. Just recently, Eilish took to Instagram her "Bright Minded" variety show series where she talked about self-reflection and introspection during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

As told by Eilish in one of her series, "All of us were able to explore ourselves in our different layers and dig deeper into things that we haven't had the time to go into."

Aside from encouraging fans to focus on their mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, Elish is also known to promote having a positive body image and sporting laid-back and care-free personality.

Cyrus hasn't revealed anything else about the potential collaboration between the two stars. However, any future projects borne out of the two's creative efforts would probably reflect some of their common ideals and beliefs.

Miley Cyrus Works on an Upcoming Metallica Album

According to Billboard, in the Glastonbury Festival last year, the singer had a ball making her own cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters." Currently, she said that she's working on a full album of metal songs with the group. She also expressed how her initial creative funk from the consecutive lockdown was rebooted by metal music.

"We're so lucky to be able to continue to work on our art during all of this. At first, it felt uninspiring and now I've been totally ignited.", Cyrus said.

However, even while working on Metal music, Cyrus said that she's not necessarily boxed on one specific type of music as of the moment. When she was made to decide between rock and pop, she says, "It depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Some days the toughest choice I have to make is Britney or Courtney."

"Those are usually my big decisions, my big dilemmas.", she added.

While it isn't clear yet if her efforts on working for Metal music is connected with her plans on collaborating with Eilish, Cyrus is definitely getting her hands full as her "Stand By You" Pride Month Concert today will get her preoccupied for quite some time.
