Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton want to prepare everything perfectly before their honeymoon.

After a long time of waiting, Stefani and Shelton are now officially husband and wife. But the most-awaited event still does not push them to try expanding their family or have a "couple time" together.

Nearly two weeks since they got married, the couple reportedly skipped their honeymoon - at least, for now.

A source revealed that Stefani and Shelton spent a few more days on the ranch with their kids. This surely stole the time they were supposed to be alone, but the days with their kids were reportedly relaxing and exciting.

They cannot schedule their honeymoon anytime sooner as the two will both need to follow their busy schedule.

"Not a lot has changed other than calling each other husband and wife. They are just extremely happy and excited about finally being married," the insider went on.

Stefani, Shelton's Wedding Was Perfect

Apart from the couple, "The Voice" host Carson Daly also said that the wedding ceremony was "a perfect blend of country and glamor."

In an interview with Today, the host - who spearheaded the ceremony - revealed that the event was a combination of Stefani and Shelton.

"It was as elegant and refined and cool as Gwen is, and it was country and down-home and fun as Blake is," he added.

Stefani and Shelton made sure that they were part of every preparation for the wedding. In fact, the 45-year-old country singer himself built a chapel inside his Oklahoma ranch where he always wanted to hold the wedding with the singer.

The husband also publicly expressed his desire to start living a simpler life with Stefani as soon as possible.

Their wedding came years after they began dating in 2015. The singers met as coaches on the NBC singing competition.

During that time, both of them just filed for divorce from their former partners. Shelton filed for divorce from Miranda Lambert in July 2015. The two spent four years of married life together.

Weeks after that, Stefani and Gavin Rossdale shocked their fans with their divorce announcement. The former couple called it quits after 13 years of marriage.

After nearly five years of dating, Stefani and Shelton got engaged in October 2020.
