Ed Sheeran doesn't want you to f--k with his love, but he does want you to dance to his music. Today (Aug. 4), the British singer-songwriter released a new music video for his second x single "Don't," the biting cheating anthem for Ellie Goulding, and it's all about moving seamlessly through life.

Following in the vein of "Sing," Sheeran appears very little in the music video for "Don't," instead passing the baton to a pair of break dancers who make their way through the city of Los Angeles.

Beginning in a desolate house, a pretty shady looking male dance pop locks and drops his way through the day, making breakfast in a ratty wife beater tank top before departing for the streets. He then makes his way through the city, slowly breaking into nicer and nicer homes (all while smoothly dancing) and putting on new clothes.

He boogies with a woman and a pizza box, throwing on a red flannel shirt before eventually making his way to a lavish L.A. mansion, throwing on a designer suit and sitting at a head table before a massive Thanksgiving-style feast.

Sheeran makes a small cameo in the video as a passerby in a car, watching the man dance his way through the streets.

Though the clip is impressive with all that dancing, it has a distinct disconnect to the lyrics. Where's the saucy adultery? The signs of betrayal and anger and heartbreak? Nowhere in this video... This clip feels like a poor man's "Chandelier," particularly after the brilliant release of Sam Smith's "I'm Not The Only One" last week, a brilliantly executed spin on an illicit affair.

"Don't" is the new single from Ed Sheeran's sophomore effort x, which was released in June. "Don't" was preceded by "Sing" as a promotional track, with a puppet-themed music video.
