Azealia Banks is officially split from her former label Interscope, and now she's riding totally free. Today (Aug. 5), the "212" rapper released a new music video for her shockingly solid single "Heavy Metal and Reflective," and she's all about showing off her tough side by riding dirty on some motorbikes.
Set in the middle of an expansive desert, Banks is accompanied by a massive crew while they run around on a few joy rides on dirt bikes, cruising around and looking like the type of folks you don't want to mess with.
Other than mean mugging in the desert, there do seem to be some additional layers to "Heavy Metal and Reflective," beyond making Banks look tough as nails. There are scenes of Banks getting tied up to a chair in a kidnapping, reflecting her past label struggles and eventually, an extended shot on a butterfly, symbolizing her newly freed and flying status.
But, that doesn't mean she isn't just a big girl with some big 'tude: I mean, check out that ferocious dog...

"Heavy Metal and Reflective" is a new track from Banks, presumably from her debut album Broke with Expensive Taste. After struggles with her former label and multiple pushbacks, it seems as though Banks' debut album could finally see the light of day by the end of the year.
