One of Madonna's most famous dresses is presently being auctioned off.

The gown she wore in her "Material Gown" music video is projected to fetch more than $196,000.

The fuchsia gown is apparently being auctioned with the white fur scarf, pink opera gloves, and rhinestone bracelets she wore in the popular song video from 1984.

Previous products from the video, which has been seen over 103 million times, were been sold for 14 times their original price. This suggests that the ensemble may sell for higher than the anticipated price.

According to the Daily Mail, folks who wish to harness their modern-day material girl like Madonna may do it with the aid of the statement dress.

Those who desire to bid, on the other hand, would have to attend a big number of auctions and even pay a considerable sum of money.

According to the publication, these outfits are being auctioned as part of a Music Icons sale at a private event in Beverly Hills.

"The Queen of Pop and the definitive American style provocateur Madonna has trailblazed music, stardom, and fashion in a manner all her own and like no other artist in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries," according to a Julien's representative.

They went on to add that it was initially built for the 1980 TV movie "Norma Jean," but was leased for Madonna's usage in the "Material Girl" music video by the Palace Costume and Prop Company.

"In Julien's unique presentation of her pink Marilyn Monroe-inspired gown and accessories, one of the artist's most famous looks of all time will dazzle the auction stage."

The outfit was also included in "Blond," a 2001 film about Marilyn Monroe's life.

Aside from the physical garment, the lot also contains a Material Girl dress animated NFT, which Julien's described as a "digital depiction of Madonna's physical dress."

NFT has increased in prominence in recent months, with numerous fashion firms even keen to establish a position in the digital realm.

Madonna's fuchsia gown isn't the only one up for sale.

Her "Material Girl" silk headband sold for $28,148, 14 times its initial estimate, a few years ago.

They also sold her white satin halter gown from the 1990 "Vogue" music video for $179,200.
