Stagecoach Festival 2022 is around the corner, and here are some information that might come in handy to prepare for your next festival adventure.

After a two-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Stagecoach Festival 2022 is making a return to California on the same grounds as the recently concluded Coachella Festival.

Taking place from Apr. 29, 2022, until May 1, 2022 - Stagecoach Festival 2022 packs a heavy roster of Country music, Americana, Red Dirt country, and bluegrass musicians on the three-day festival.

Stagecoach Festival 2022 Lineup

Thomas Rett, Carrie Underwood, and Luke Combs are set to headline the three-day festival from Friday to Sunday.

Brandi Carlile, Maren Moris, Midland, Brothers Osbourne, Lee Brice, Cody Jinks, Mitchell Tenpenny, Smokey Robinson, and The Mavericks are also among the many performers at the upcoming Country festival.

However, some huge artists might not be making it to the highly-anticipated festival due to recent news.

Brandie Carlile is dropping out of her first day set as she was recently diagnosed with COVID-19.

For Brothers Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne might not be making it as he tested positive for the virus, his wife Sharon Osbourne tearfully shared earlier.

Performers who are taking their place were not yet announced as of this writing.

Stagecoach Festival 2022 New Rules

In a recent Variety post, confederate flags or other "divisive symbols" are banned from the festival.

The Goldenvoice's Stagecoach Guidelines website states the newly added provision.

"No divisive symbols, including, without limitation, Confederate flags and racially disparaging or other inappropriate imagery/public displays," the new guideline reads.

The use of confederate imagery has been contented for quite some time already. Some see the flag as a "harmless symbol of Southern pride," while some see it as a "dog whistle" for racism or an emblem for government insurrection.

Two of the three headliners of this festival, Maren Morris and Luke Combs, initially touched upon the controversial topic in a previous conversation at the Country Radio Seminal conference.

"At these country music festivals, I see the Confederate flags in the parking lots. I don't want to play those festivals anymore. If you were a Black person, would you ever feel safe going to a show with those flying in the parking lot?," Combs explained.

This year's Stagecoach lineup packs a huge roster of mixed heritage, including Smokey Robinson, Neil McCoy, and Rhiannon Giddens, among many others.
