Another festival fatality has been reported after a woman died after attending the Bang Face Weekender 2022 last week.

Taking place on Pontins Holiday Park in Merseyside, Southport last May 5-9, 2022, the annual electronic dance music event was a highly-anticipated and attended music gathering in England.

Bang Face Weekender 2022 Festivalgoer Found Unconscious, Dead

Mix Mag reports that an unidentified woman who is in her 30s who attended the recently-concluded Bang Face Weekender 2022 has passed away.

Initial police reports say that an ambulance was called to the venue around 7:00 a.m. last Friday, where one person was taken to the nearby hospital.

Despite the woman being unidentified, the police are not treating the case as suspicious.

The woman was taken to the hospital but subsequently died upon arriving.

"May we take this opportunity to send our deepest condolences to the family in these most distressing of times," Britannia Hotels, the owner of Pontins, told the Liverpool Echo.

"The woman's next of kin have been informed and the death is not believed to be suspicious. Our investigations are continuing into the incident and a file will be passed to the coroner," the Merseyside Police spokesperson said.

The cause of death of the woman has not yet been revealed. As investigations unfold in the coming weeks, the reasons for her death shall then be disclosed to the public.

Per Resident Advisor, Bang Face Weekender returned for its twelfth edition last week. However, organizers have yet to comment on the recent tragic event.

Bang Face Weekender is a 4-day electronic music event where fans get to rave "in a classic seaside holiday park." With four indoor music venues hosting "a Neo-Rave explosion of Acid, Jungle, Rave Hardcore, Drum & Bass, Breakcore, Bass, Techno, and Electronica."

This is not the first time that what was supposed to be a fun-filled festival turned into a fiasco.

Currently, Live Nation and Travis Scott face a multimillion lawsuit that might hurt the rapper financially.
