Motley Crue's bassist Nikki Sixx expresses his support and amusement for drummer Tommy Lee after the musician did the unthinkable during the band's opening show of their highly anticipated Stadium Tour 2022.

According to Louder Sound, the drummer got injured a few weeks back, and it never stopped him from performing in front of thousands of fans at the Trust Park in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 16.

The musician sustained four broken ribs and went against doctors' orders.

Even though he was persistent in playing that night, he never got the chance to finish the rest of their show after playing five songs ("Wild Side," "Shout at the Devil," "Too Fast for Love," "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)" and "Saints of Los Angeles").

Sixx later took to Twitter to express his true feelings over his bandmate playing despite his condition.

"The fact that Tommy was told by the doctor to not play with 4 broken ribs & he beasted half our show is a miracle," he wrote.

The musician added that the band is proud of his strength, and he's doing the whole tour as well as adding more songs every day.

"What a f******* animal. Anybody out there ever break ur ribs?" he wrote.

Lee also posted on social media to give an update regarding his current medical woe, saying he broke four ribs and has been resting even though the doctor told him he shouldn't play at all.

"You know I'm stubborn and I'll beast through the pain every show for as many songs I can!" he added.

Since he couldn't perform for the rest of the evening, the drummer was replaced by Tommy Clufetos, Black Sabbath's drummer for their final tour and a current member of Sixx's L.A. Rats supergroup.

He finished the performance till the end, including Machine Gun Kelly's surprise appearance.

"Have no fear, my boy Tommy Clufetos is here to help me out until I'm back at 100%," the drummer added.

As of this writing, the band and Tommy Lee have not confirmed when he will play again for their Stadium tour.

According to the band's official website, Motley Cure, Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett and the Blackheart's next show will be in Miami, Florida in June 18 before going to cities like Washington DC, Philadelphia, Nashville, St. Louis, Hershey, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Denver and many more.
