Kate Bush is running up that hill on chart success!

Her 1985 classic hit, "Running Up That Hill," has been making rounds all over social media - from Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and especially TikTok - the song is everywhere!

Thanks to the Netflix-hit series "Stranger Things," Kate Bush's chart performance both in the United States and the United Kingdom are at an all-time high.

Achieving an all-time high on the Billboard Hot 100, "Running Up That Hill" now peaks at #4 in the charts dated Jun. 18, 2022. The song climbed four spots after it placed #8 last week from oblivion.

Since its release in 1985, the song only managed to hit #30 on the Hot 100 charts - that is why the song is now Kate Bush's first Hot 100 Top 5 track in her entire discography.

Billboard reports that "Running Up That Hil (A Deal With God) generated 29 million streams, 2.4 million airplay impressions last week, and sold 22,200 downloads.

Over to the Digitalk Song Sales chart, the track spent its second week while it takes the top spot on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart - marking the songstress' simultaneous performance on all singles charts.

The "Stranger Things" hit also managed to climb the top spot of the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Alternative Songs chart on the same tracking week.

Bush also scored her first No. 1 album with "Hounds of Love," the album where "Running" came from, as it peaked at a new high on the Top Alternative Albums chart.

Page Six reports that the 37-year-old resurgent track now holds the record for the longest-ever gap between Number 1 singles, according to the Official Charts Company. Her last No. 1 was "Wuthering Heights" in 1978.

The song beats Harry Styles' "As It Was" on the top spot as the song achieved an all-time high. Bush also claims the record for the longest time taken for a single to reach Number 1 on the Official Singles Charts. The song peaked in the charts at #3 in 1985.

Aside from the two feats, Kate Bush is now the oldest female artist ever to score a No. 1 hit on the charts. She bested Cher, who was only 52 years old when she topped the charts in 1998 with "Believe." Kate Bush is now 63 years old.
