Scoring a million mark was easy for him, but the journey toward fame was tough for the rapper.

At the young age of six, he already showed signs of violence when he tried to stab a man who was attacking his mother. He was kicked out of the school choir when he struck another student.

His troubles did not stop there as he also got expelled from middle school due to more physical altercations. Amid the bad things in his life, he expanded his career in music and fell in love with rock and nu-metal.

In 2013, he released "Gun/Flock," which opened his doors to more collaborations. At that time, he adopted the moniker XXXTentacion and started uploading his music on SoundCloud.

In the weeks before his death, XXXTentacion secured a $10-million contract.

How Did XXXTentacion Die?

In 2018, the controversial hip-hop artist was shot and killed at the age of 20.

The Boward Sheriff's Office, per a news outlet, said that he was leaving a motorcycle dealer in his car when a gunman started shooting him.

"[We investigated] a developing incident regarding a Shooting located at 3671 N. Dixie Hwy., Deerfield Beach. Regional Communications received a call of a shooting at the above location at 3:57 p.m. An adult male victim was transported to an area hospital," the office said.

Meanwhile, the sheriff department said that the two armed suspects fled in a dark-color SUV.
