Mark Hoppus set the record straight about the rumored Blink-182 reunion.

Since Hoppus' recovery from cancer, fans have been waiting for him and Blink-182 members to perform together again. The talks intensified when Tom DeLonge's potential comeback emerged.

However, Hoppus himself addressed the talks and revealed that there is actually "no news to share" about DeLonge's status and Blink-182's reunion.

During his recent chat on Discord, the guitarist marked the band's 30 years instead and did not disclose their next plans.

"There is no news to share. There is no announcement. Today is thirty years of blink-182! If and when blink has any announcement about anything, you will hear it from the official blink-182 outlets. Not teased on a radio station like 'tune in for a major announcement...Tom tagged Mark in a photo from two decades ago,'" he said.

DeLonge truly shared a photo of Blink-182 during its early years on Instagram.

The band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2005 due to growing tensions between the members. After Travis Barker got involved in a plane crash in 2008 that almost claimed his life, Blink-182 decided to make a return at the Grammy Awards in 2009.

They officially came back with the "Neighborhoods" album in 2011, but tensions happened again as DeLonge was more focused on his non-music-related gigs.

Eventually, they welcomed Matt Skiba as a replacement for DeLonge in 2015.

Matt Skiba Out, Tom DeLonge In Again?

The clarification regarding Blink-182's reunion came after Skiba revealed he does not know his status with the band anymore.

On Instagram, a fan asked him why he has no "Blink" content on the platform. The supporter also said that the band itself does not post a picture of him, either.

Skiba then responded and told the fan that he also does not know whether he is still part of the band.

"Your guess is as good as mine. Regardless, I am very proud of and thankful for my time with Blink 182. We shall see..." he disclosed.

Meanwhile, DeLonge sparked return buzzes when he told James Corden during his appearance on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" that he was open to returning to the band years after leaving it.

He added that they always talk about a reunion and playing together again, adding that it was their common interest.
