A new era is really beginning for The 1975 as they finally released the second song from their upcoming album "Being Funny In a Foreign Language." Since it dropped a few hours ago, many fans are curious about the meaning behind the track.

In a recent interview with Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe, frontman Matty Healy revealed the new song doesn't have much structure and it naturally came out during one of their jamming sessions that they haven't done in years. (via Pitchfork)

"We just wanted this record to be really like a captured moment and not be too constructed and even produced that much," he added.

The 33-year-old vocalist revealed that the song was completed within a day as they were having fun in the studio.

"I think that there's this real desire in art to see something remarkable with as little technology as possible," he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, the frontman opened up about working with Jack Antonoff on their new album, saying he loves the producer's previous projects, especially Lana Del Rey's songs.

Their friendship started when they were discussing production and what he was doing as a musician. Healy later thought of inviting him to the studio and "see what happens."

Since then, they became good friends.

"He's so good. What he does is identifies what an artist is really good at or where the truth is coming from," he described Antonoff.

Aside from releasing a new song, The 1975 also announced their North American tour titled "The 1975 At Their Very Best."

Their first show will be at the Mohegan Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, before visiting cities like Boston, New York City, Camden, Washington D.C., Grand Prairie, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and many more.
