According to their press release, the European and United Kingdom leg of the Rage Against The Machine tour would not proceed after frontman Zach de la Rocha was advised medically against touring.

After finishing the last three shows in Madison Square Garden in New York City on August 11, 12, and 14, the band, including de la Rocha will be taking a break.

Per the band, the rigorous flights, travel time, and schedule to the Europe and UK would simply be "too much" of a risk for de la Rocha's complete recovery.

"We are so sorry to all our fans who have waited years to see us and hope to Rage against soon," the statement reads.

Rage Against The Machine Zach de la Rocha Injury

On the second show in their rescheduled Chicago Tour, last July, Rage Against The Machine frontman Zach de la Rocha sustained a leg injury mid-performance.

NME reports that the frontman got the injury while performing their fourth song of the night, "Bullet In The Head." He left the stage for a while and returned.

Despite the injury, the frontman announced that he would still perform and continue playing for the crowd.

Zach proceeded to perform the remainder of the performance sitting down, however.

As of this writing, it has not yet been revealed what specifically happened to the frontman's leg or what caused the injury.
