Doja Cat may have been on a break from her music career after her surgery, but she still keeps her fans entertained by constantly live streaming on different platforms of social media. Recently, she revealed a big milestone she achieved while recovering.

Taking to her Instagram live, the "Get Into It (Yuh)" hitmaker revealed that she got rid of a vice that she's been doing for years.

Doja said it's been 70 days since the last time she vaped.

Despite her going in the direction of being completely healthy, the nicotine-free lifestyle isn't easy for her as she still struggles to get rid of it.

"I would love to have a smoke. In the name of love... I would love to have a f****** smoke. M***********. I'm going to peel my f******* skin off," she said while interacting with fans. (via Uproxx)

The recent announcement comes a few months after revealing online that she would quit her vice because she's afraid for her tonsils to get infected as it wasn't worth it.

Doja Cat Underwent Surgery For Her Tonsils

In May, the "Kiss Me More" songstress shared a series of tweets where she recalled her tonsil surgery due to a growing abscess.

The rapper noted that the surgeon had to cut into her left tonsil and her whole throat feels different.

Her tonsils started to get infected before Billboard Music Awards this year. At the time, she was taking antibiotics and she forgot that she was under medication so she drank wine and used her vape the whole day.

After the awards show, she felt growth in her tonsils, leading her to undergo surgery.

Doja Cat was supposed to perform alongside The Weeknd for his "After Hours til Dawn" Tour, but she had to cancel at the last minute because of her health woe.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the rapper shared the devastating announcement to fans, saying she had to cancel her festival run throughout the summer season including the co-headlining tour with The Weeknd.

The "Say So" hitmaker assured fans that she couldn't wait to heal from her health struggles for her to make music again.

As of this writing, Doja Cat has not announced a tour or a new music project, but Post Malone released a collaboration track with the rapper titled "I Like You (A Happier Song)."
