Taking to their official Facebook account, the famed rock band shared a lengthy post regarding their former vocalist's confession, saying they felt disgusted and disappointed with what the singer did to his family.

Starting their statement, the group noted that they already parted ways with Kelly in 2019 after knowing the "severe acts of abuse" he inflicted upon his family over the past few years.

At the time, Neurosis said their bandmate disclosed the problems he was having with his wife to them as well as the verbal abuse he did.

They didn't hesitate to remove him from the band as they believe that he crossed a line.

The reason why they didn't publicize the matter at first was out of his wife's request for privacy as her family doesn't want their problems to become gossip in the music scene.

Now that their groupmate had finally admitted to his wrongdoings online, the band believes that it's time for them to speak out.

Neurosis said they lived apart from each other for the past 20 years and the only time they see Kelly was during their shows or whenever they work on music.

They had no idea what he's been doing to his family behind closed doors.

Scott Kelly Refuses to Speak to Neurosis After Admitting His Wrongdoings in 2019

After finding out the truth years back, they noted that it was hard for them to "reconcile the horrible information with the person" they thought they knew.

They attempted to contact him for the past three years as they wanted to give an honest talk about the status of their band and to be updated about his family's situation, but they revealed that he refused to speak to them.

Although Kelly had already admitted to his mistakes, Neurosis believes that his post was another opportunity to manipulate and control the narrative of the story.

They concluded the post by saying their primary concern is Kelly's family's safety and well-being as well as other people who might be experiencing the same thing.

Neurosis shared the number 1-800-799-7233, which is the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

As of this writing, Scott Kelly has not responded to his band.

The latest statement comes a day after the vocalist admitted to having abused his children and wife, saying he used threats and manipulation to hide the truth.

He also revealed that he would be retiring from the music industry.
