Kelly Clarkson is considered an iconic personality in the music industry for having numerous chart-topping hits and classic songs that old and new generation fans love and adore. To seal her name as one of the most renowned musicians of all time, she finally received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

During the event, the "Since U Been Gone" hitmaker had an emotional reunion with the former judges of "American Idol" who witnessed her shot to fame to become the competition's first-ever winner.

According to E! Online, the original judges—Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul— were all present at the ceremony to celebrate the singer's recent milestone.

Not only did they attend the event, but they also spoke on behalf of the "Stronger" songstress.

Cowell began his speech by saying the show kept on going on television for years after Clarkson showcased her talent to the world.

"There was the moment where you sang 'Respect' and we all looked at each other like, 'Oh my god, thank you,'" he said.

He also recalled the moment when Clarkson's name was called and he told himself that he was thankful because the show may air for another season.

Today, "American Idol" is still airing after 20 seasons. Judges of the most-recent season include Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan.

After the famed British talent judge, Abdul went up to the stage to express her gratitude to the singer for "changing the trajectory" of her life.

She also thanked her for making her believe that young people with musical talents "can make it."
