Demi Lovato is currently touring across North America to perform songs from her recent album titled "Holy Fvck." During her most recent show, she brought out a special guest to surprise her fans; who could this be?

According to Elite Daily, the former Disney star performed at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. Halfway through her set, concertgoers were surprised as pop-rock songstress Ashlee Simspon took the stage to perform two special songs that are dear to their heart.

The two rockers sang a mashup of "La La Land" and "La La," both tracks were released during the early stages of their careers.

After singing the first verse of "La La Land," Lovato announced that Simpson was in the building to perform with her. The two singers donned an all-black outfit to emulate their punk-rock genre.

They hugged each other after their performance before the "Camp Rock" star said, "Give it up for this girl!"

Rolling Stone reported that Simpson's recent appearance was her first live performance in over three years. The last time she took the stage was in January 2019 when she was promoting the EP "Ashlee + Evan" along with her husband Evan Ross. Prior to that, her last tour was in 2008.

Demi Lovato Considers Ashlee Simpson As Her Inspiration for 'Holy Fvck'

Speaking to Apple Music 1's Zane Lowe, Lovato previously mentioned that Simpson and Kelly Clarkson were two of her main inspirations for her new album.

The "Made In The USA" hitmaker said she witnessed how the "Breakaway" singer transformed from being an R&B soul pop artist to pop-rock.

"I was like, wait, that's what I want to do," she says in reference to Clarkson.

"And there's also Ashlee Simpson 'LaLa,' and I was like, I want to do that. So I got inspired, and then I found bands like Paramore and Flyleaf," she further says.

Demi Lovato's Final Tour

In early reports, Lovato shocked fans when she shared three posts on Instagram stories, saying that she's "sick" and couldn't get out of her bed.

She noted that she couldn't do it anymore and that her "Holy Fvck" tour would be her last. As of this writing, the singer has not given a further explanation about her post.

Her next scheduled show would be at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 30.
