Fans were sad after Nick Mara announced that he would leave the group PrettyMuch and the rest of the members finally spoke out about his exit to explain whether they'll disband or not.

According to a new statement posted on their social media accounts, the group clarified that their former member's exit is "NOT the end" of the band, instead, they consider it as a "new beginning."

The remaining members began by telling fans how much they love them as well as expressing their gratitude for their support over the past six years. (via Rolling Stone)

Addressing the issue, the group noted how they're having "some very difficult conversations" as a whole over the past month and it's not easy for them to reveal publicly what they went through.

PrettyMuch finally confirmed that Nick Mara is leaving the group and clarified that it was his decision to "take on new endeavors as an individuals" and pursue more things as a solo artist.

Even though their good pal is leaving the band, they noted that the rest of them will continue supporting him and "love him like a brother" in his new journey.

Concluding their statement, they finally reveal that PrettyMuch will not be disbanding as the remaining members, Brandon Arreaga, Austin Porter, Edwin Honoret, and Zion Kuwonu, would continue as a four-piece group and they can't wait to share new music and content with fans in the near future.

Nick Mara Breaks Silence About His Exit

In a separate post, Nick Mara took to his official Instagram account to share his own statement to give fans more details about why he decided to leave the group.

The singer said he realized he sees himself taking a different route regarding his career after thinking about it for a while.

"This was the hardest decision I have had to make and has been lingering for the past year. The guys and I had a great conversation and they respect and support my decision," he added.

Despite leaving the group, Mara clarified that he wishes his former bandmates nothing but the best for them as he knows they'll always have his back after spending many years in the past.

He also shared a separate caption, saying he's excited for his new journey as well as his former band because they all created something special.
