Madonna has been subject to criticism again after uploading an "attention-seeking" video on TikTok.

Fans rejoiced over the weekend as Madonna seemingly came out as gay through a TikTok post. The 64-year-old singer can be seen throwing bright pink underwear into a trash can but missing it intentionally in the end.

This seemingly answered the text "If I miss, I'm Gay" on the video.

After sharing the post, NBC News noted that the Queen of Pop became the No. 1 most searched topic on Google in the US. She, however, received criticism for allegedly queer-baiting through the video and promoting music through the PR stunt.

Still, the "Material Girl" fans quickly defended her and said she has been a dedicated supporter of the LGBTQ community. They also said she has been showing signs that she might be bisexual or gay in the past years.

One said, "Some of y'all need to put respect on Madonna's name. Her philanthropy and activism for gay rights when no one else dared to talk about them is something to never ever forget."

Is Madonna Bisexual?

Madonna has been married to Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie. She also publicly dated men but famously kissed several women in public.

She first sparked rumors that she is bisexual after appearing in a 1991 interview with The Advocate, where she said everybody has "that" nature. Isaac Mizrahi caused the topic to resurface in February when he was asked during Andy Cohen's talk show, "Watch What Happens Live!", about the singer's relationship with bisexual comedian, Sandra Bernhard.

Per Mizrahi and Madonna had a sexual relationship at one point.

Most recently, she was spotted getting intimate with queer rapper Tokischa when they attended the NYC Pride in June.

Despite the recent criticisms, the 64-year-old dedicated her life in supporting the LGBTQ. In fact, she told Ellen DeGeneres that the gay community has also been incredibly supportive of her, as well, that she would not have a career if it were not for them.

In the 1980s, she assisted during the AIDS crisis and became a vocal advocate for people diagnosed with it. GLAAD also acknowledged her efforts in raising gay awareness and being an advocate for change in 1991 and 2019, respectively.
