IT'S CONFIRMED! Blink-182 is returning with the original lineup of Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and returning guitarist Tom DeLonge!

The announcement comes in the form of a 182 Industries ad, a fictional company that was also teased on posters flying around Manhattan, New York.

Reports of a Blink-182 reunion have been highly-reported in the past few months, but frontman Mark Hoppus has denied the rumors before.

But with the glorious news appealing to longtime Blink-182 fans, others can't help but worry over replacement guitarist Matt Skiba on how he fits in on the new lineup.

Skiba, previously from Alkaline Trio, replaced an exiting Tom DeLonge at the time and has been Blink-182's guitarist ever since.

Earlier this year, Skiba expressed uncertainty over his presence on Blink-182, but a reassuring Mark Hoppus confirmed that since no official announcement came from the band's page, Skiba remains a member.

At the time, Matt Skiba's name was included on the band's Instagram page's bio, listing him as the guitarist. However, days ago, fans were surprised that Blink-182's Instagram posts were all wiped out, including the bio where Skiba's name was listed.

With the news coming as a shock to everyone, fans are scrambling for answers whether Matt would still be included in the lineup now that Tom DeLonge is back.

"Okay but I'm actually gutted they kicked Matt Skiba out for Tom to scurry back in again. The Albums Matt helped make are some of my all time favorites. I'm so glad they are back, I'm so glad this means Travis is flying again. But dang Matt Skiba is such a fantastic musician," a fan pointed out.

Skiba's absence from the promotional video speaks volumes, with many hoping for the best that Blink-182 would introduce Matt Skiba as a second guitarist, probably for an all-star lineup.

"I love Blink 182 but surely they could've kept Matt Skiba as a second guitarist and he could sing his era's music? It seems a bit harsh keeping him in the dark," another user posted.

However, as of this writing, Matt Skiba and Blink-182 have yet to comment on his absence from the promotional video, leaving fans of the beloved rock group wondering what happened to him.

Aside from their new song, "Edging," which was largely teased in the video, Blink-182 will also be embarking on their highly anticipated world tour, along with new music on the bay.
