Britney Spears and Elton John Snag Exciting Award Nomination While a Recent Spears Tweet Has Twitter Taking Sides

Britney Spears and Elton John have been nominated for best collaboration at the NRJ Hit Music Only Awards.

Since Britney has been freed, she has been taking the world by storm in her own way. Late last night she took to twitter to announce that she and musical legend Sir Elton John had been nominated for Best Collaboration at the iconic NRJ HIt Music Only Awards. The collaboration that has been nominated is Hold Me Closer. The song, which was released as a single back in August of this year. It is a remix-reimagination of Elton John's original song Tiny Dancer. This new adaptation is absolutely iconic and is well worthy of the nomination.

This is not the only reason that the eyes of the Twittershpere are once again on Britney Spears. Shortly after posting about the exciting nomination news, the star took to Twitter and posted a naked picture of herself sprawled out on her bed. The text read:

"I have a premiere for this week 'THE LEGISLATIVE ACT OF MY P***Y'"

Once again, the world of Twitter has found themselves bandying about commentary regarding the their opinions on Spear's decisions. As those coming to her defense are rightfully pointing out, it does not matter what Spears does. She is a free and empowered individual. They are trying to express to the world that Spears was hyper-sexualized for years by the media. They beg the question, then, why is everyone so up in arms when she, through her own autonomy, is electing to do so herself.
