Good news for BTS Army! Jin recently amassed massive success on the charts and it's all because of the endless support of his fans; how many songs made it to the top 15?

According to Soompi, the pop star surprised fans after releasing three songs titled "Super Tuna," "Tonight" and "Abyss" to all major music streaming platforms as they were previously available on SoundCloud and YouTube only.

It didn't take long for the tracks to debut at the top of the World Digital Song Sales chart. All songs placed in the first three spots on the Billboard chart.

Not only that, his collaboration with V titled "It's Definitely You" from the drama "Hwarang" placed at number nine while his solo ballad "Yours," the official soundtrack of "Jirisan" placed at number 12.

In other updates, Jin released his debut single titled "The Astronaut" last week. He performed it along with Coldplay at their "Music Of The Spheres Tour" in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

BTS Jin Updates

Many were surprised as BTS announced that their group would be going on a "non-hiatus" hiatus for a few years for them to be enlisted in the South Korean army for mandatory service.

Jin revealed during his live stream that he originally planned to enlist earlier this year but he decided to postpone it in order to be a part of Busan's bid for the World Expo 2030 in June.

"I originally planned to enlist in June but in order to be courteous to fans, I waited until our October performance," he said. (via Complete Music Update)

The Korean idol added that he didn't want to have an emotional performance so he delayed his announcement until after their show.

Last month, BTS confirmed that all seven of them would be entering mandatory military service until 2025. Since Jin is the oldest member of the boyband at the age of 29, he would be the first one to be enlisted.

South Korean law requires all men to serve in the country's military between the ages of 18 and 28. However, the singer was able to delay his enlistment after the law changed.

In addition, Jin said he would have enlisted himself over the past years, but he decided to delay his service after BTS amassed massive success internationally due to their song "Dynamite."
