Thursday (Aug. 14) was a pretty exciting day for Chris Brown. The singer released a visual for his single "New Flame" featuring Usher and Rick Ross and later in the day, he announced he would be joining Trey Songz for a joint tour.

Details on the tour are very scarce. In fact, the two simply announced they would hitting the road together.

Both a name for the tour and which cities it will hit have yet to be determined but according to a tweet from Brown the tour will kick off sometime this fall.

Songz and the "Loyal" singer exchanged videos on Instagram discussing the tour and asking for fan opinions.

Trey Songz also announced they have an unreleased song together.

Both Brown and Songz hail from Virginia and have maintained a friendship throughout their respective rises to superstardom. In fact, during his jail stint, Trigga even showed up to Breezy's court appearances.

As fans may recall, a teenage Brown appeared in Songz's 2005 video for "Gotta Go," which served as the second single from Songz's debut album.

Last year, Songz and Brown collaborated with R&B newcomer August Alsina on the "I Luv This S**t (Remix)." Get ready for the R&B version of Drake vs. Lil Wayne! Stay tuned for more updates.
