Aaron Carter is being remembered for his iconic work in music an on Broadway.

This weekend. the world was met with the tragic news that Aaron Carter passed away. He was found in Southern California in his home. A cause of death has not yet been announced.

The singer, aged 34, was popularly known as a singer. As the younger brother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, the singer rose to popularity at an early age. He was adored by his fans.

His pop-sound colored the early 2000s with popular tracks including I Want Candy and I'm All About You. As a teenager, he was seen on iconic Disney shows including the unforgettable Lizzie McGuire. While his career as a singer is what he is largely remembered for, he was performing on Broadway long before he was performing pop.

A young talent, Aaron Carter saw his early start in the world of live performance when he took to the Broadway stage. As a young child he took on the role of Jojo in the musical Seussical. While he did not originate the role, he was the last to perform the role during this Broadway run of the production. This was not his only stint on the Broadway stage. He also appeared in The Fantasticks in 2011. He played the role of Matt in this lesser known but exceptionally beautiful Broadway show.

His death is an immense tragedy for all. Our thoughts go out to all of his friends and family.
