Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo dated back from 2013 to 2015, although it was quite brief, the former Miss Universe opened up about how the singer treated her after their breakup.
Following their breakup, the actress simply updated fans that she was going to do alright, "Your heart just breaks, that's all. Heartbreak is hard but you find more and more things to be grateful for every day."
However, behind the scenes, Culpo was actually in the middle of a crisis of sorts. In the premiere episode of her reality show, "The Culpo Sisters," she revealed that the breakup was more than what she had let on.
"Do I have to talk about that?" She wearily asked the producers off-camera before she dove right into it. "I did date Nick and that was a very formative experience for me."

'Formative Experience'
Culpo then shared how she moved to Los Angeles with the singer, which eventually proved to be a bad decision on her part.
"I had no brand, no money and I was in love. That was great, right?" She rhetorically asked. "But when he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of identity."
Culpo won the Miss Universe title in 2012, and the following year she began dating her now ex-boyfriend Jonas. Despite her massive accomplishment, she still struggled to find herself and her identity, especially after her rough breakup with the "Jealous" singer.
"My whole identity was in him, which is a very common story of a young person in love."
Culpo also revealed that she actually thought that she was eventually going to marry Jonas after their breakup, what should have been a daydream was a rude awakening.
"[...] I just remember night after night looking up at my ceiling in my apartment that I couldn't afford thinking to myself 'how am I going to pay my rent?' I couldn't even afford my groceries. It was a serious, pivotal moment for me, but it was something that taught me that you can't give up," she shared.
Culpo proved that she did not give up, as she soldiered on after the breakup. According to Page Six, she is now currently dating Christian McCaffrey, the San Francisco 49ers running back.
Jonas has also moved on, as he is now happily married to Miss World 2000 winner Priyanka Chopra, and they now share a child together.
