Morrissey was performing at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles last Nov. 12 when all of a sudden, 30 minutes into the concert, he left the stage and did not come back. Fans were left angry and disappointed with the singer's sudden disappearance.

According to reports, the 63-year-old singer had just finished performing "Girlfriend In A Coma," a Smith's classic, when he left the stage unannounced.

Later, personnel appeared onstage and apologized on behalf of the singer, "Sorry, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the show is not going to continue. Very sorry. We'll see you next time. Apologies."

The announcement was reportedly met with boos and jeers from the fans.

A source told Consequence that the show was canceled because of the cold weather. The outdoor concert was happening while the temperature was somewhere around 49 to 71 degrees, Datebook noted.

The Smiths frontman himself found the weather too cold as he told the crowd before leaving, "As I think you know, it's extremely cold."

"Can you tell? I can. However, we will steam on. Where to? Who knows," he had said

Rescheduled

Morrissey then issued an apology via his social media accounts, but did not explain the reason why he suddenly walked off.

"Thank you for coming out last night, LA. We love you and are grateful for your support,"

"Please stand by for further announcements coming shortly."

Despite the reschedule, fans were still annoyed with how the singer treated the situation, and many aired out their frustrations on social media.

"His politics suck, he's a persnickety hothouse flower who can't be guaranteed to finish a set, his performances have long been halfhearted at best, & his best songs are at least 15 years behind him. I don't get spending money on him," a Twitter user wrote.

"Has happened to me 2 times already. Love him but kinda whiny man. Meanwhile some performers break their ankle in half and finish a show. Too bad for the fans," another one pointed out.

According to KTLA, Morrissey's "Life in Concert" tour is expected to go on until early December, however, given the recent reschedule, there is no word on how it will affect other dates.
